Financial Information

Financial assistance is available through a limited number of graduate assistantships for first year students. Graduate assistantships are awarded based on the applicant's academic credentials. These assistantships generally include partial tuition remission and a monthly stipend. Additional assistantships become available in the second and third year of study and vary according to the funding sources. There are no additional forms to fill out for financial assistance through the School. Students will be notified by separate letter if they have been awarded a graduate assistantship. The University of Memphis is a part of the southern consortium of colleges. This consortium allows in-state tuition for those students from states that are part of the consortium.
