Mission Statement: Clinical Education Program

The mission of The University of Memphis School of Audiology and Speech-Language Pathology clinical education program is to prepare students to become competent, successful practitioners in the fields of Audiology or Speech-Language Pathology. Graduates of the program will meet state as well as national credentialing requirements. The program is dedicated to excellence in academic and clinical education and to building leadership skills and setting high clinical performance standards. The academic and clinical faculty are dedicated to the professional development of each student, to enhancing the quality of the program, and to the dissemination of scholarly information locally, nationally and internationally.

Our Clinical Education Programs provide extensive off-site practicum experiences in over 13 hospitals, 3 public school districts, 3 private practices, over 10 ENT offices, and many other settings in the Memphis area.
