Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CAPCSD)
The Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders (CAPCSD) is an organization representing academic programs which offer master's, doctoral, and postdoctoral preparation of audiologists, speech-language pathologists, and speech, language, and/or hearing scientists. The Council's purposes include: advancing the goals and effectiveness of graduate education programs, including the promotion of research and the definition of educational standards; facilitating the exchange of scholarly and professional information; and fostering initiatives to enhance the preparation of students in ways that are congruous with the public need.
International Evoked Response Audiometry Study Group (IERASG)
The IERASG is a society organized for the express purpose of providing an open forum for the discussion of physiologic signals generated within the auditory system. The IERASG meets once every two years at the Biennial Symposium. Society dues provide a newsletter, startup support for the symposium organizer, support for the Hallowell Davis lecturer at the symposium and support for student presenters.
